When you create positions in the Position Description service in PeopleSoft, you will select from a list of Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) available. These should be required for the performance of essential duties.

AR1 Accounting Proficient navigating and maintaining databases
AR2 Accounting Knowledge of standard bookkeeping and accounting procedures
AR3 Accounting Advanced Excel skills with ability to build and manipulate spreadsheets
AR4 Accounting Minimum of 24 hours accounting course work
AR5 Accounting Minimum of 15 hours of college accounting
AR6 Accounting Cash handling
AR7 Accounting Financial or accounting experience to include analysis, auditing and budgeting
AR8 Accounting Able to understand a chart of accounts and code entries to proper account
AR9 Accounting Proficiency with accounting or billing software
BS1 Basic Skills Ability to speak, read and write clear, concise English
BS2 Basic Skills Basic math skills
BS3 Basic Skills Ability to accurately read and understand written materials and instructions
BS4 Basic Skills Basic computer skills
BS5 Basic Skills Able to operate a standard transmission
BS6 Basic Skills Advanced math skills
BS7 Basic Skills Advanced computer skills with wide knowledge of business software
BS8 Basic Skills Read and understand complex written materials such as blueprints, metrics or technical manuals
GO1 General Office Proficient in Microsoft Office
GO2 General Office Detail oriented for accuracy of data and information
GO3 General Office Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines
GO4 General Office Able to communicate well and build rapport quickly with students, faculty and staff
