If you will be part of the hiring process in your department, you will need access to our position and requisition management programs. The Position Description service is built into PeopleSoft and allows us to create and manage positions on campus. Taleo is our program for creating job postings and hiring new employees. Requiring access to one does not necessarily mean you will need access to the other. To gain access to either, you will need to fill out a Role Request Form and submit it to Human Resources.
Once this form is received, Position Description access will be addressed promptly. Access in Taleo will depend on your role. Approvers and Reviewers will receive access within 1-2 business days. Preparers and Hiring Managers will need to take part in a brief training exercise, where they will practice using the Taleo system to create and manage job postings. Access will be set up once training is complete.
